Summary
I Won’t Accept Your Regrets
“I can’t promise you love, but I’ll have no other woman but you.”
I thought it would be okay. Even if he didn’t love me, I thought my love would make our marriage happy. But that naive wish was soon shattered.
Because Lizzena, Raymond’s first love, came back with a kid.
“Lize is trying to make her child be the First Prince,” he told me.
“Let’s get a divorce.”
I decided to abandon him.

“What?”
Raymond’s eyes shook violently as if he didn’t understand my words. His agitation, seen for the first time, for some reason made me feel relieved.
I opened my lips to him again with a soft smile: “I want to leave you. So Raymond, let’s stop now. Divorce me.”
It was the end of a long unrequited love.

Yes, this is a hard read. I read the first five chapters, and then skipped to chapter 10 because it was just too awful seeing the female lead be treated so badly by the male lead. Skipped a few more chapters, and got to a place where I could just barely stomach it. That being said, I will keep reading because I really am rooting for the female lead to find happiness. She deserves it after what the Emperor put her through. But if the writer is going to put her back together with the emperor, then there better be a whole lot of personal growth for him. There better not be a poof!, they are in love again and everything is fine type garbage! He better suffer A LOT first!
