I loved every moment of this comic🤣 my absolute favorite part was all of the lumpy potatoe looking horses I have at least a dozen screen shots of them! This is absolute comedy gold❤️ I am wayyyy to invested in the story. I was gurgling with laughter basically the entire time. Every misunderstanding leads to the added tension. The plot doesn’t take itself too seriously but in the moments the threats appear you can see just how much danger they’re in. I rarely ever read comedies but this is blinding shiny gold.
*spoilers* (if you are going to read the comic don’t read this!!!!!) you can clearly see the “real” plot happening around them. The og fl reminds a more conniving fl from the villainess is a marionette. Every trope is parodied even down to the black haired male lead. You pity all the charectors conflicting interests which pivot around one the throne and two king king ja. There are too many peices on the board to know which is presently moving. Also I can’t figure out which will be the ultimate villainess the og fl or the empress (blondie’s evil mother). Og fl has more stakes in general wanting to be the empress and all while the empress has more personal stakes wanting her son to be the emperor and wanting to kill our fl… my bet is on ogfl but so little has been presently done with the empress only foreshadowing… makes me think they’ll do some sort of 3rd act reveal… just my scatter brained thoughts. My point is read this it’s great.
